Sometime you just gotta pay homage when it's due...  

 

We found these old steel Budweiser cans and decided to give them a second life as part of a McSwain guitar.  We laminated the cans to the arched top of the tone chambered redwood body which has a book-matched koa back.  The inlays are aluminum Bud crowns. Volume and tone knobs from glass Bud bottle tops.  And we found an old pull tab which we inlaid as the truss rod cover.  Check out the video of our good friend PhilX just ripping it on the McSwain Budweiser ...
